Step 1: Log in to Your DentalMonitoring Dashboard
Log into your DentalMonitoring dashboard
Click “My Account” in the top right corner
Select “Configure” next to Generate your API key
Step 2: Generate Your API Key
Review and check the disclaimer box to acknowledge the terms
Select Dolphin from the partner list
Click Generate my API key
Step 3: Verify and Copy Your Key
Enter your DentalMonitoring password
Click “Copy”
Re-enter your password to confirm
Step 4: Get Your Provider ID and Practice ID
To complete the integration, you’ll also need your Provider ID and Practice ID.
👉 Use our Live Chat on the bottom left of your screen, to contact the Customer Experience team. Please be sure to say that you need your Provider ID and Practice ID for the Dolphin integration setup. This helps the team quickly identify the correct information - these IDs are different from those used in other areas of DM systems.
Step 5: Enter the Information into Dolphin
Once you have your API key, Provider ID, and Practice ID:
Open Dolphin Management
From the Edit menu, select:
Integrations → DentalMonitoring Setup
Paste your API key, Provider ID, and Practice ID into the appropriate fields

From the Help menu, select Search
Enter DentalMonitoring in the Search tab and click List Topics
Select the topic you want to view and click Display
💡 Tip: Keep your API key secure and do not share it with unauthorized users. If you need to regenerate a key, simply repeat these steps.
