What changed?
The ScanBox displayed on the patient card is now automatically set to the equipment used during the patient's last scan. The manual "Add/Change ScanBox" option has been removed from the patient card.
Why does this matter?
As DentalMonitoring supports more equipment types (adapters, LED adapters and more), the app needs reliable and up-to-date ScanBox information for each patient to display the right equipment when a scan is started. Previously, doctors had to manually set this value, which could lead to outdated or inaccurate data. Now, it updates automatically.
What does this mean for your practice?
Your team no longer needs to manage ScanBox assignments manually. The dashboard reflects what was actually used, keeping your patient data accurate without any extra steps.
Where can I see it?
The ScanBox is displayed in read-only format in the Monitoring Information panel on the patient card and on the patient avatar.
FAQ
What if a patient has never submitted a scan? The ScanBox field will be empty until a first scan is submitted.
Can I still manually change the ScanBox? No. The manual option has been removed. The value is always auto-detected.
Does this affect the patient list filters? Yes. The ScanBox filter on the monitored patient list reflects the last published scan.
