You can send personalized annotations on patient scans to provide clear visual instructions. Common uses include showing where to place elastics, highlighting areas that need extra brushing, or indicating where chewies should be used.
Annotate a Scan Photo
Open the Patient Card.
Under the scan image you want to annotate, click Send Photo.
A new window will open with annotation tools available at the bottom of the screen.
Use the tools to add notes, drawings, or highlights directly on the image.
When you are satisfied with your annotations, click Next.
Add a Message
After clicking Next, you will see a preview of the annotated image.
Enter any additional instructions or comments in the text box below the image.
If desired, use the Quick Replies feature to insert a predefined message.
Send the Message
Click OK to send the annotated image and message immediately.
To schedule the message for later, select Send this message later and choose the desired date and time.
Your patient will receive the annotated image along with any accompanying message you included.
