What is Task Management?
Task management is designed to give you a comprehensive overview of all the tasks associated with DM notifications that require completion for every member in your practice.
With this functionality, you now have the ability to:
Effortlessly assign notifications among practice members.
Perform actions directly from the notification center.
How to use the functionalities of Task Management?
You can use the functionalities on the dashboard. Within the notification center, you have the ability to:
Assign notifications to a particular user along with a comment.
Initiate actions directly from the notification center.
View the aligner number displayed in the patient name cell
Assignment
In order to utilize the assignment functionality, follow these steps:
Define the list of potential assignees.
Assign a notification.
Easily filter the list of notifications by assignee or due date.
To define the list of assignees, navigate to the practice edition page, which can be accessed from the "My Account" page. On this page, you can manage the list of practice employees by adding, editing, or removing them. Anyone on this list can be selected as an option when assigning a task.
Then to assign a notification from the notification center, you just have to click on the “Assign to” button
A new pop up will be displayed allowing you to choose an assignee and provide optional information such as a due date and comment. Additionally, you can access the page to manage the list of assignees by clicking the "Create a new assignee" link within this pop-up.
By clicking on “Assign” the information is updated in the notification list.
If you want to modify the assignment information, you can do it with the “Modify” button (a pop up will be displayed and the comments are visible)
To facilitate the search for specific notifications in the notification center, two new filters have been implemented :
Filter by assignee
Filter by due date
Actions
To save time navigating through different pages, you now have the convenience of initiating certain actions directly from the notification center.
A new column has been added, offering two types of actions:
Messages: This action allows you to directly respond to or engage in messaging related to the notification.
Clinical actions: This action enables you to directly perform clinical actions associated with the notification.
When you click on "Message," a submenu is displayed within the notification center
Send a message
The “Send a message” pop up is displayed directly in the list (no need to go on the patient card)
When you click on "Clinical actions," a submenu is displayed within the notification center
Exclude teeth
The “Exclude teeth” pop up is displayed in the list (so no need to go on the patient card)
Change aligner number
The “Change aligner number” pop up is displayed in the list (so no need to go on the patient card)
Force Go
The “Force Go” pop up is displayed in the list (so no need to go on the patient card)
