According to the phone model, you will need to place the DM ScanBox teardrop on a specific scale to ensure the best scan quality possible.
Here are the recommended placements according to the Pixel phone model in use:
Pixel 8 and 8pro:
The phone must be positioned at the opposite side of the generic reference and aligned on number 8.
Pixel 7 and 7pro:
The phone must be positioned at the opposite side of the generic reference and aligned on number 6.
Pixel 6 pro:
As the Pixel 6 pro camera and flash are in a specific position compared to more standard phones, you will have to position the phone a bit differently in order to fit both of them in the DM ScanBox opening. The phone will have to be up slightly (see picture below) to ensure the best scan possible.
