According to the phone model, you will need to place the DM ScanBox teardrop on a specific scale to ensure the best scan quality possible.
Here are the recommended placements according to the Sony phone model in use:
Sony Xperia 5III:
As the Sony Xperia XZ2 camera and flash are in a specific position compared to more standard phones, you will have to position the phone slightly differently in order to fit both of them in the DM ScanBox opening. The phone will have to slightly stick out from the initial position (see picture below) to ensure the best scan possible.
Sony Xperia 5II:
The Sony Xperia 5II is not compatible with the ScanBox.
Sony Xperia XZ2:
